Ajmer Sharif Deg

Ajmer Sharif is a sufi shrine of sufi saint, Moinuddin Chisti located at Ajmer , Rajasthan , India . The shrine has the grave (Maqbara) of the revered saint, Moinuddin Chisti. The Deg as shown in the picture has a religious importance , & its said that the food cooked in it during the special days is delicious . People can donate whatever they want in this deg.

 

Urs festive

This pic is one of the pics during the Urs Festive , its  an annual festival held at Ajmer, a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, which commemorates the death anniversary of the Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti, (founder of the Chishtiya Sufi order in India). It is held over six days and features night-long dhikr/zikr qawwali singing. The anniversary is celebrated in the seventh month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Thousands of pilgrims visit the shrine from all over India and abroad.

Weekly Photo Challenge / Phoneography Challenge : My Neighborhood

This was technically more challenging for me , as my Nokia mobile is losing its capturing ability in low light.

Still I managed to click a few from my terrace , that was the best way to capture the scenario around , which I won’t have been able to get on my walk in neighborhood , it was a beautiful scene to enjoy so many birds on one tree, and more kept on coming , & all of a sudden in one minute they flew away …..

and this another one is of the sunset , a few kites can still be seen …

Weekly Photo Challenge: Kiss

Kiss , is something you do out of intense love , its a way of expressing love , when words fail , just like photographs , they speak more than 1000 words could. This is an amazing similarity between both a Kiss & a Photo. This is a perfect challenge theme. I was a bit confused as in which one to go with , but finally I chose this one.

My little cousin , who has a thing for bunnys , lolz, and when she sees one ,even a toy , she is like kisses & all , it is her way to express her feelings , how much she adores them. So this one is for her innocent love , she doesn’t even know she is expressing her love for them , & makes it seem even more cute ^_^

The mummified zombies, bound endless strands (cords) fate describes the situation of awaited death & miserable life.

While the little girl with violin sitting on chair has bit static effect with it , grounded roots , yet feet not touching , like its waiting for the shield of shoes , before she enters the real world.

On the other hand Robot woman , is the complicate part to explain , she is yesterday or could be the tomorrow , but acts like the other side of the same coin of zombies .

The real meaning is still in the eyes of the viewer ….

 

Weekly Photo Challenge: Love~ yet to discover

I have always loved the idea of LOVE , & yet never lived it , Its like walking on the beach & looking at your own reflection, coz the other half of you lies beyond that seas , I think, that I ll meet someone one day, who would possesses the eyes that I never had , but always needed; the vision to see backwards and forwards and all around, the other wing that I need to complete my flight. And I think it can just happen, suddenly, without explanation! And then I think, it would be good to keep that person, I’ll always have those eyes, and always have two wings.

So I just want to say him , whoever he is , wherever he is right now , I don’t know you , but Love will find us & than our journey together will begin coz ,

My love for you is a journey;
Starting at forever,
And ending at never

Well this time s theme took me by surprise , & I thought & thought about it , like what surprised me , & there were many big moments flashed by ….. but than this picture crawled way up to my brain & I thought Life is full of Big surprises , but there is always fun in the little packages that come by & doesn’t matter much , & just surprise you in the most amusing way …

So here it is the sweet little Heart shaped potato …

It makes me think that Love is in the air or in grocery bag !!!
