The Happy Endings … Books, Movies & Reality ….

I am a bit of a feminazi (or can be on certain subjects) , So you can imagine that I would not be into the subordination of women, or of women being submissive. So I thought I would adamantly hate 50 Shades Of Grey by E.L.James , But, shockingly I did not hate it. I will say that I agree with many that the writing was not as good looking to its popularity, and yet even with the bad writing I wanted to know what would happen. I was curious while reading what parts interested other women. Yeah sex sells , but there was more to the book , it was the depth with the characters ,and the emotional part that played around , & I would say I have more of a positive opinion towards it.& again there is this happy ending that s very appealing to me. 50 Shades of Grey has enlighten one of the most important part that many fails to read,& that is the in between shades ,

Again people have this tendency of complaining with the happy endings of movies & novels , which I really don’t understand , if you expect good things than that ‘s what would happen to you , your perspective towards life , I would like to mention this quote which played at the end of the movie He ‘s just not that into you

“Girls are taught a lot of stuff growing up. If a guy punches you he likes you. Never try to trim your own bangs and someday you will meet a wonderful guy and get your very own happy ending. Every movie we see, Every story we’re told implores us to wait for it, the third act twist, the unexpected declaration of love, the exception to the rule. But sometimes we’re so focused on finding our happy ending we don’t learn how to read the signs. How to tell from the ones who want us and the ones who don’t, the ones who will stay and the ones who will leave. And maybe a happy ending doesn’t include a guy, maybe… it’s you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is… just… moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this, knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment you never gave up hope. ”

The mistake that we all made is we try to live the happy endings shown in movies & have read in books , but we don’t live our own happy endings in our own ways , & thats where we lose it ,& than curse this hollywood movies & romantic novels for showing us this way. We are the ones who misinterpret the real idea behind it. So my word , try to make your own happy endings , rather than comparing it , try to live your on moments and that would make it special.

Go for happy endings , Life doesn’t have sequels , you know sometimes all you need is 30 seconds of insane courage , Just literally 30 seconds of embarrassing bravery , & I promise something good will happen out of it , give life a shot , & have a positive attitude towards life , that would just do the magical work.

Quote of the day:

“You’re not weak. Your life is not defined by a letter grade, a dress size, your sexuality or anything else. You have every chance at happiness. You were not meant to suffer. You are loved. Never, ever give up.”

  1. I actually tagged 50 Shades as one of my favorite books. Not a sex addict but the romance of the characters makes me want to read it over and over again, and yes, who does not adore Happy Endings right? 🙂

  2. yeah exactly , people need to bypass the negative start and should focus on the positive outcome , thats what this book is about , I am glad you too connected with the depth of the characters.

  3. Wow… Nice take…
one of the few novels where characters take the center stage….
No hard story, Not a good writing but superb and excellent character development…
really like Mr Grey and Ms Steele…
